| Comment: Hello and Thanks, When I was a not so wee child of 9 in 1976 my american parents took it upon themselves to move to europe for a year as they had never been and were approaching the old age of 35 years. They had intended we reside in the islands of Greece but some how by october or november we ended up in Peebles. That being said, what a beautiful yet stark sheep encrusted land you have in winter. My sister and I were enrolled in the 2 room K thru 12 school near to the old Manor farm where we were letting a coal fire heated cottage , cannot recall the surname, they had a boy near our age named Colin and they had mostly chickens. Anyhoozle, getting to the point, through the school we ended up doing the Christmas pageant at this Church, I believe, and I was a wise man , I believe.
Is it possible that anyone else has this memory of this time, or a picture even. We were the american girls....I have vivid memories but that is all.
