We can now report that we have collected just over £2,000, enough to build 2 houses, and with gift aid well on the way to a third. Many thanks to all who contributed by filling smart tubes with 20 pence pieces. There should now be a bit more small change circulating in Upper Tweeddale!
Do remember our Future Focus meetings. we met on Wednesday 6th and Wednesday 20th April and focused on who lives in our parishes, where do they live, where do they socialise, what do they do, in our first meeting and on the strengths and weakness of our churches in our parishes and what we might do short term to improve these. on Saturday the 30th in Broughton Village Hall from 10am to 3pm we will try to pull everything together and plan what we need to do, where we are going. If you care about the future of your church please join us.
